CUSO Financial Services and Sorrento Pacific Financial Announce DreamBuilder Employee Benefit Program
Sister broker-dealers provide mentorship and coaching services to help staff realize their dreams
SAN DIEGO – November 11, 2014 – Sister companies, CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS) and Sorrento Pacific Financial, LLC (SPF), full-service broker-dealers and SEC Registered Investment Advisers providing customized investment and insurance solutions to financial institutions, have announced their new DreamBuilder employee benefit program designed to help employees reach their professional and personal goals. The DreamBuilder program is a 12-month initiative in which employees work with the companies’ learning and development director, Rosanne Roberts Archuletta, to set and achieve goals as they seek to create more balance and success in their personal and professional lives.
Inspired by Matthew Kelly’s “The Dream Manager” book, the program consists of individual meetings with Roberts Archuletta, monthly one-on-one calls and a series of take-home assignments. All interested employees who have been with CFS or SPF for more than one year may participate in the program free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants initially develop a list of 25 personal and professional short-term, mid-term and long-term goals and then work to make progress toward them, adding to the list and relying on Roberts Archuletta as a mentor.
“The DreamBuilder program is not only about goal setting and achievement. It is also about encouraging the individuals to see their lives more holistically both inside and outside of the workplace,” said Roberts Archuletta.
The program has a staggered enrollment process with new employees joining at the beginning of each quarter. Twelve employees have enrolled in the program to date. Their goals include dedicating more time toward financial, health and fitness, adventure and travel, professional development and family initiatives.
