Sorrento Pacific Financial and CUSO Financial Services Appoint Connie L. Gregory as Senior Vice President Business Development
Financial industry veteran joins sister broker-dealers to support investment programs at banks and credit unions across the country
SAN DIEGO – March 14, 2016 – Connie L. Gregory, CLU, has joined sister companies, CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS) and Sorrento Pacific Financial, LLC (SPF) as senior vice president of business development. A veteran of the investment industry, Gregory joins the senior management team of these two full-service broker-dealers and SEC Registered Investment Advisers that provide customized investment and insurance solutions to financial institutions. She will establish relationships with banks and credit unions across the country and be responsible for marketing the sister companies’ investment program capabilities.
Gregory has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and was most recently with a national broker-dealer in a similar role. She will design and implement business development strategies while staying aligned with the unique needs of credit unions, which cater to members, and regional banks, which focus strongly on community. She joined CFS and SPF on the strength of the companies’ stellar reputations and stability.

- Serving as the initial BD liaison
- Responding to any RFP or due diligence requests
- Representing CFS/SPF at industry conferences and meetings
- Facilitating program contracts and company visits
- Introducing financial institutions to transition teams and relationship managers

Gregory has held several leadership roles, including most recently at a national broker-dealer, and previously at Independent Financial Marketing Group, where she served as senior vice president of business development. Prior to that, she was vice president of new business development for the western region of Essex Corporation. She previously had been vice president of alternative distribution marketing for CNA Insurance Companies, managing life insurance sales relationships with financial institutions. Gregory holds FINRA series 6, 7, 63, and 65 registrations, and the designation of CLU (Charter Life Underwriter). She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
