SPF and CFS Celebrate 2013 Milestones, Announce 2014 Theme Reaffirming Dedication to Customers and Employees
Amid industry turmoil, broker dealers continue to help investment programs reach success
SAN DIEGO – April 1, 2014 – Sister companies, Sorrento Pacific Financial, LLC (SPF) and CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS), full-service broker dealers and SEC Registered Investment Advisers providing customized investment and insurance solutions to financial institutions, celebrate several 2013 milestones and strong growth entering into 2014.
Key 2013 milestones include: 20 percent increase in commission revenues and 24 percent increase in total profit over 2012; the addition of 23 new financial institution programs to their client roster in 2013; and the broker dealers helped nearly half of their investment programs reach record success levels. In addition, a record number of financial advisors qualified as gold pacesetters, indicating the advisors met increasingly higher levels of production in 2013.
These successes are unusual in the investment industry, which has suffered from instability and turmoil due to numerous mergers and acquisitions in the last year. Despite the industry turbulence, CFS and SPF have maintained stability by remaining focused on their core objective of helping financial institutions build successful investment programs.
CFS and SPF also introduced several new services in 2013, all intended to support investment program growth. These include an onboarding program to help new investment advisors achieve success faster; a customer service concierge desk operated by highly experienced employees; enhanced training for existing advisors to help them expand the breadth and depth of the service offering; and an award winning mobile scanning app to increase efficiencies for advisors in the field.
